Donderdaghap in Broek in Waterland

On Thursdays we do things differently.

On Thursdays, Broek pulls up a chair

Grab a plate, help yourself, pull up a chair.

On Thursdays there's only one dish on the menu: the Donderdaghap. The dinner menu takes the night off. You grab a plate, help yourself and pull up a chair.

Always vegetarian, sometimes a piece of meat, now and then a fillet of fish. It's the evening for anyone who doesn't feel like cooking, or who wants one more stop in the village after work. Neighbours, someone dropping in on their own, families whose kids found the play corner long ago: at the table, nobody minds.

Book a table, or first see what the restaurant does the rest of the week.
