Privacy Statement
How we handle your personal data

Het Broeker Huis respects your personal data and makes sure that any information you give us, or that we obtain in other ways, is treated confidentially. Below you can read which data we process, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR.
Who is responsible?
The controller for the personal data processed through this website and our services is Het Broeker Huis, Leeteinde 16, 1151 AK Broek in Waterland (Chamber of Commerce / KvK no. 97454079). Questions about this privacy statement or your data? Email [email protected].
Which data do we process, and what for?
We only process the data needed for the purposes below — never more than that.
- Reservations: the name, contact details and reservation details you enter on our reservations page (hosted by Tebi, in a window on our site).
- Quote requests for weddings, corporate gatherings and parties: the details you enter in the quote form (hosted by MICE Operations).
- Contact by email or phone: the information you share with us yourself in order to answer your question.
- Planning conversations for events: with your consent we record these with Plaud.ai, a European, GDPR-compliant service, so that we don't miss any details when drawing up run sheets and agreements. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Marketing and journey emails after a booking: with your consent, we'll send you a series of emails around your event (for example, inspiration and practical information) through Laposta. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Website statistics: only after your consent via our cookie banner — see the cookie notice for the details.
On what legal basis?
We process personal data on the basis of the performance of a contract (reservation, quote, booking), your consent (planning conversations, marketing emails, analytical cookies) or our legitimate interest (for example, making sure your visit or event runs smoothly).
How long do we keep data?
We do not keep personal data any longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above, or for as long as the law requires us to (for example, the tax retention period for invoices).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or transfer your data, and the right to object to the processing or to withdraw consent you have previously given. Send your request to [email protected] — you will hear back from us within four weeks.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful use.
Changes
We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page.
