By car from Amsterdam

Take the A10 towards Volendam and follow the N247 => take the Broek in Waterland Zuid exit just left over the bridge => one minute later you're at the free car park on the Nieuwland, past the school, on your left => walk five minutes along het Havenrak to Het Broeker Huis, Leeteinde 16.
Don't drive further into the village. That's not a rule, it's a favour: the streets are narrow, the spaces aren't there, and the loop of frustration costs you twice as long as those ten minutes you thought you'd save.

Fifteen minutes by bus, half an hour by bike.
By public transport: bus 110, 112, 314, 315 or 316 from Amsterdam Centraal or Station Noord. You're there in fifteen minutes, a bus every 5 minutes. Get off at the Broek in Waterland stop, then a seven-minute walk along the Havenrak — the finest part of your journey, and you didn't have to do a thing for it.
By bike: half an hour from the ferry behind Amsterdam Centraal. Through the Volgermeer nature reserve, or along the dike past the houseboats. Cycling junction 1 sits in the heart of the village, so you don't even have to think about the way back. you park your bike in the shed next to Het Broeker Huis.
