A day out in Broek in Waterland
Walking along canals, cycling past national monuments, dining where the village comes home.

How to plan a day out here
Coffee, walking, lunch, getting lost, coming back.
Start with coffee at our place — Boontje, our own recipe. From there it all happens naturally: walk the Noordmeer route (~1 hour), cycle to Ilpendam and Overleek, look inside the church of Broek. Rent a whisper boat and see what you can't from land.
When you're tired, you come back. We have a table for you.
No hurry. No planning. Just: what you see, what you feel.

The ideal day plan
Morning and afternoon — at your own pace.
Morning: sit still, drink coffee, watch the village wake up. We give you walking routes and cycling junctions — not a tourist trap, but what you need to feel the village.
Afternoon: the Noordmeer route is ~1 hour. Cycling past Ilpendam and back via Monnickendam — 2 hours, easy. Come back around 13:00. You'll be hungry.
No WiFi needed. No travel guide. Just what you see.
