Where the day begins with Boontje
From 08:40 — once the kids have been dropped off.
On Wednesday at 08:40 — once the children have been dropped off at the Havenrakkers — the first parents are already having coffee. Boontje, our own house brew, freshly ground (no rush). A slice of cake alongside, a toastie for the little ones. Or just a glass of water and the newspaper.
Lunch starts as soon as the kitchen is ready for it. Quiche, salad, more toasties, a chalkboard full of good things. And small dishes to share or happily keep to yourself. The kitchen is open all day: no awkward menu changes or fixed times.

Coffee by Boontje
The one and only, real Broeker Brew.
Boontje exists because we couldn't find a coffee anywhere that was good enough for the House. So we made it ourselves. To our own recipe, honest and exactly the way we think coffee should taste: no frills, all flavour. Whether you drink an espresso at the bar or a cappuccino on the terrace in the morning sun — a day in Broek begins with Boontje.
There's always coffee here. Always cake. And always a spot at the bar, in a comfy chair, or outside, on the terrace.

Lunch is no afterthought — it's a moment. Fresh bread, seasonal soup, small dishes -to share or on your own- that land on the table without any rush. And a chalkboard on the wall. With sandwiches, salad and whatever looked good at the market this morning.
On Sundays it's leftovers day. We empty the fridges, add a good dollop of creativity, a pinch of imagination and a scoop of love, and turn it into something that tastes better than the original. Fresh bread, a slow afternoon, and a day that quietly ends in "Is it eight o'clock already?!"?

Opening hours
Wed–Thu 08:40–17:00. Fri 08:40–00:00. Sat 10:00–00:00. Sun 10:00–20:00 (leftovers day). Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Reservations
You can always drop in. And you can reserve, of course. On Sunday reserving is wise: leftovers day is rather popular.
Terrace & outdoors
Sixty square metres on the Leeteinde, sun from morning to evening. Behind it the courtyard under the trees.
Children
Welcome — mess and all. Play corner, high chairs and a menu that works for little people.
