Het Broeker Huis

Het Broeker Huis
Restaurant, wedding venue & meeting venue in Broek in Waterland. Since 1775.
In the monumental heart of Broek in Waterland stands Het Broeker Huis – the place where people come together since 1778. Where food connects the people, silence speaks and celebration comes naturally.
Broek in Waterland is no backdrop. No movie, no stage play. It's a story. A story that's still unfolding. As village hall, restaurant, wedding venue, meeting venue and party venue, Het Broeker Huis plays the lead role in this fairytale come alive.

Our promise
And we keep it.
We promise that:
you never need a reason to drop by, strike up a conversation with someone you've just met, laugh harder than you planned, stay longer than you meant, and come back without a reservation.
We're not exclusive; we're for everyone. Not 'passion'; but fire. Nothing to 'discover'; just do it. We don't 'unburden'; we listen. We're not a concept, not a chain, not an experience. We're simply Het Broeker Huis.
Never alone, never go home again. And always room for one more.
Broeker Huis village hall
Where Broek meets itself.
In 1789 Neeltje Pater bequeathed Het Broeker Huis to the church, on the strict condition that it may "never be used for anything other than the common good of the citizens of Broek in Waterland".
Friday night the bridge club, baby group on Wednesday morning, a living room with its door open. Pub quiz, dance night, children's theatre & guest chefs. The village decides what happens here.
