Party venue near Amsterdam
Monumental, personal and fifteen minutes away.

Not an events centre, but a village hall
Where your party still feels like your party.
Most party venues near Amsterdam are exactly that: a venue. A hall with a bar, a panel of light switches and a list of packages. You rent the space, pick package B, and you're off to the races.
Het Broeker Huis is not a venue. It is a village hall. An official Dutch heritage building in Broek in Waterland, fifteen minutes from Amsterdam. People have eaten, drunk, married, mourned and celebrated here since 1775. Our kitchen cooks seasonally and honest, over open fire. A 240 m² courtyard and Jeppe, who greets you at the door as if you’ve been coming here for years.
No drinks packages here, no standard script, no compulsory three-course menu with a choice of two desserts you don't like. Drinks are settled afterwards: you pay for what you drink. Food is served however you like it: sharing platters passed around, a set table for three courses. Or five, if things get out of hand. And all the room to make it exactly the way it suits you.

Parties with character
Open fire, a courtyard & room to dance.
What a party venue outside Amsterdam gives you, and a city hall doesn't, is room. Not just square metres — we have those too, from intimate with ten to grand with two hundred and fifty — but room in the literal sense. No parking app, no neighbours complaining, no door that has to close at eleven.
At Het Broeker Huis you walk from the Grote Zaal to the Binnenplaats without anyone handing you a map. Drinks start outside, dinner moves indoors, the dance floor forms all by itself. And if it rains? Then everyone moves inside and the party simply carries on in the Tuinzaal.
On average our guests pay €45 to €55 per person for a party. But it all depends on what you want — something we'd rather discuss at the kitchen table.
Come and see for yourself how it feels for your party, or take a look at the halls?

Come by?
A cup of coffee and a wander through the Huis.
You don't choose a party venue staring at a screen. Come by, take a look around, feel the spaces. We'll put on some coffee, show you the halls and brainstorm with everything that's possible — no obligations, of course, and no slick sales talk. Because it has to fit. You, the Huis, and the party you have in mind.
