Meeting outside the city

A moment. Completely. Nothing.

The office is around the corner, the calendar is packed and the meeting room still smells of last week. You want to be somewhere else. Fifteen minutes outside Amsterdam, in Broek in Waterland, stands a house where time stands still — which makes it exactly the right place to move forward.

No lunch buffet on hot plates and soggy cheese sandwiches. Instead, coffee from Boontje — our own recipe — and a kitchen where you eat well. Meeting in monumental quiet, in halls with a view of trees, calm and your own thoughts.

By day you meet in this village house — in the evening the Broekers play cards here. That is Het Broeker Huis: of the village, for everyone.

Away-day, offsite or team day

Far from the office, close to what matters

Two days behind your desk and your thoughts get stuck. One day truly out of the office — in another house, another village, another sky — and suddenly everything looks completely different.

Het Broeker Huis was built in 1775 and has survived wars ever since — it will survive your away-day too. Combine a morning of meetings with a walk through the village, lunch in the garden and an afternoon session in another hall. Or round things off with drinks in the courtyard, as the sun sets over the Havenrak.

Up to 6 can stay the night in our B&B, on the courtyard. Then it's no longer an away-day, but a two-day session. With private dining in the evening and coffee by the water in the morning.

Workshop or training

with room for good ideas.

Even PowerPoint gets room to breathe here. A workshop in the Regentessenkamer, a training in the Tuinzaal — and in the break, recharging for the second half in the prettiest village in the Netherlands. Broek in Waterland is really our largest outdoor space: in a quarter of an hour you stroll past beautiful national monuments, over quiet little bridges and along the Havenrak. Recharge, be truly outside for a moment. Clear your head: and on you go.

Projector, screen, wifi and power — works just as well as in Amsterdam. The rest you arrange yourselves. Or not: we're just as happy to think along about the day's schedule, setups and catering.
